POS-004 HYPOALBUMINEMIA AND ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY IN PATIENTS ADMITTED TO INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a disease of diverse etiology, consisting decrease in the glomerular filtration rate and therefore with retention waste products such as urea creatinine, accompanied by fluid, electrolyte acid-base disorders. It present 39.5% cases admitted to intensive care unit (ICU) our hospital, it affects mainly men infectious processes, impacting mortality. Hypoalbuminemia has been associated positive fluid balances, however there are few studies that attempt associate AKI. Case-control study, including patients ICU at Hospital Central Sur de Alta Especialidad (HCSAE) Mexico City serum albumin determination admittance. The were distributed into control group (normoalbuminemia >3.5 g/dl) studied (hypoalbuminemia <3.5 g/dl). Patients on hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, transplant, burned patients, fed parental nutrition, liver failure excluded. Those who presented two AKI events less than 7 days eliminated. Statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS software, version 20 (SPSS, Inc., Chicago, IL). A t-test one-way ANOVA used for normally data.
